Huaishang District Living Waste Transfer Center DBO Project in Bengbu City
On June 26, 2016, the construction of the Huai Shang District Waste Transfer Center officially began. The project, which adopts the DBO (Design-Build-Operate) model, has completed public bidding, with a consortium led by Jinglv Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., Anhui Provincial Urban Construction Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., and China Railway Fourth Engineering Group Co., Ltd. winning the bid. The project covers an area of approximately 9,182 square meters. It is divided into three areas: the southern area is for waste collection and transportation workshops, the central area is for large vehicle parking, and the northern area is for management offices, which will be used for the daily management of the transfer center, vehicle parking, and rest areas for sanitation workers. The project employs a compression process using a horizontal pre-compression technique, with a single compression unit capable of processing 250 tons per day, and two units can achieve a processing capacity of 500 tons per day. Once completed, the project will truly realize the goals of not allowing waste to stay overnight, not disturbing residents, and not polluting the environment.

Bengshan District Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Center DBO Project
The Bangshan District Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Center covers an area of 12 acres, with a building area of approximately 8,004 square meters. The office area is about 800 square meters, the waste transfer station is around 4,400 square meters, the road area is 2,100 square meters, and the green area is approximately 2,200 square meters. The designed capacity is to process 500 tons of municipal solid waste per day. As an intelligent municipal solid waste transfer center, it is equipped with an intelligent measurement system and utilizes a horizontal pre-compression technology, which results in a high waste compaction density and efficient waste processing. This can reduce the number of transport trips and lower transportation costs. The operation of this transfer center will effectively and orderly carry out the municipal solid waste transfer work, covering the communities in the southern area of Bangshan District. It can collect and transport municipal solid waste in a timely manner, effectively saving time during the waste collection and transportation process, improving the efficiency of waste collection, eliminating the accumulation of waste, and ensuring that municipal solid waste is cleared daily. Additionally, the Bangshan District Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Center allows for the cleaning of vehicle bodies and wheels at any time, avoiding visual and olfactory pollution. The waste is automatically sealed and operated from "coming in" to "going out," ensuring that no waste is visible, no odors are detectable, and no pollution is generated.

EPC Project of the Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Center in Yuhui District, Bengbu City
The design of this compression transfer center has a comprehensive waste processing capacity of 500 tons per day, utilizing a horizontal pre-compression process. The construction includes a large-scale municipal solid waste compression transfer station, a sanitation vehicle parking lot, and related facilities for sanitation offices, covering a total area of approximately 9,200 square meters. Before the project implementation, the existing small transfer stations in Yuhui District had weak transfer capabilities, with each station operating beyond capacity. Some transfer stations had poor environmental performance, causing serious pollution to the surrounding environment. Additionally, during the transportation and transfer process, the transfer vehicles emitted unpleasant odors, and there was severe leakage of leachate, leading to significant secondary pollution along the roads. The construction of this compression transfer center focuses on the core needs of pollution-free waste collection, compression, and transfer, establishing a "closed, environmentally friendly, and efficient" waste collection and transfer system, and achieving a "standardized, intelligent, and high-capacity" model for municipal solid waste compression and transfer.

The center is planned in conjunction with the waste disposal facilities for dry and wet garbage in Dongxiang District and Fuzhou City. The center is designed with a processing capacity of 500 tons per day and employs an industry-leading vertical garbage compression system. After compression, the garbage is centrally transported, which improves transportation efficiency by three times compared to conventional methods, reduces transportation costs by about 60%, decreases traffic occupancy by 60%, and lowers road pollution rates by 90%, significantly reducing annual operating costs. The establishment of this large-scale household waste classification, compression, and transfer center creates favorable conditions for the elimination of most small household waste collection stations in the central urban area. On one hand, it can reduce the pollution of these collection stations on the surrounding environment; on the other hand, it allows for the transformation of these collection stations for urban functional and quality enhancement, improving the urban image and increasing citizen satisfaction. At the same time, it effectively addresses the issue of processing and disposal of kitchen waste in Dongxiang.
