Eagle Lake City Urban and Rural Household Waste Third-Party Management (Integrated Treatment) PPP Project
The total service area of the project is approximately 3,335.39 square kilometers, involving a population of about 840,000. The project covers six districts and counties in Yingtan City: Guixi City, Yujian County, Yuehu District, High-tech Zone, Longhushan Scenic Area, and Xijiang New District, where cleaning and sanitation, as well as household waste collection and transfer facilities and equipment, will be constructed and configured. After the project is completed, it will form a unified urban and rural household waste integrated treatment system with "unified cleaning, unified collection, unified transfer, and unified disposal" throughout the city.
This project will be implemented using the "DBFOT (Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer)" operational model, with an operation period of 15 years. The total initial investment is approximately 59 million yuan, with a cumulative total investment of about 180 million yuan. Among this, the initial investment is subsidized by the government for 15 million yuan.
The project began construction in January 2017, with a construction period of 2 months, and started operations in March 2017.
